Victoria Vetri, also known as Angela Dorian or Victoria Rathgeb, was born on September 26, 1944, in San Francisco. She is an American actress and the daughter of Italian immigrants. Raised in Hollywood, where her parents ran a nightclub, she studied art at Los Angeles City College, worked as a model, and attended acting school, adopting the stage name Angela Dorian.
Vetri made her film debut in 1963 under the name Victoria Vetri in "Kings of the Sun." In September 1967, she was Playmate of the Month and appeared as Angela Dorian in Roman Polanski's "Rosemary's Baby." In 1968, she was named Playmate of the Year. She played the female lead in the 1969 Hammer film "When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth." After this film's limited success, her career slowed, but she continued acting in TV series. In 1980, she was seriously injured during a violent incident at her Hollywood home. In October 2010, she was arrested and charged with attempted murder of her husband, pleading not guilty. In September 2011, she was sentenced to nine years in prison.
