Yvette Nicole Brown (born August 12, 1971) is an American actress, comedian, writer, and host. She starred as Shirley Bennett on the NBC comedy series Community and had recurring roles on Nickelodeon's Drake & Josh and CBS's The Odd Couple. Brown also appeared as Dina Rose on ABC's The Mayor and played Nora, an AA sponsor, on Mom in 2018.
Brown has guest-starred on shows including That '70s Show, The Office, Boston Legal, Chuck, and The Soul Man. Her film roles include (500) Days of Summer, Tropic Thunder, Repo Men, and Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters. She has voiced characters in Minecraft: Story Mode, Pound Puppies, Elena of Avalor, and DC Super Hero Girls. Brown hosted the Syfy series Cosplay Melee, frequently appeared on Talking Dead, and guest co-hosted The View, The Talk, and The Real. In 2021, she appeared in Big Shot on Disney+.
