American actress Alexis Ann Thorpe (born April 19, 1980) is the oldest of four siblings and was raised in Yorba Linda, California. Her initial professional performance occurred at the Canyon Lake Theatre where she portrayed Wendy in Peter Pan. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Cassie Brady on the daytime drama Days of Our Lives, a role she held under contract from July 2002 until November 2003 when her character was presumed to have been killed by the Salem Stalker. Thorpe made return appearances on the series in 2004 and 2005 after it was revealed that her character had survived. Prior to joining Days in 2002, she played Rianna Miner on The Young and the Restless for two years. In addition, she appeared briefly on Friends in 2003.
