Filipina actress, model, producer, and fashion designer Angel Locsin Colmenares-Arce (Tagalog pronunciation: [lokЛ€sin kЙ”lmЙ›Л€narЙ›s]; born April 23, 1985), widely recognized as Angel Locsin, began her career in television and film with GMA Network in 2002. She gained visibility for portraying Alwina in the fantasy series Mulawin in 2004 and later performed as the superheroine Darna in the television adaptation of Mars Ravelo's comic. After being a contract artist with GMA Network until early 2007, she made a switch to ABS-CBN. There, she took on the role of Lyka in Lobo, which led to an International Emmy Award nomination for her performance.
