American actress Anne Hampton "Annie" Potts (born October 28, 1952) has made her mark in film, television, and theater. She is recognized for her performances in notable films from the 1980s including Ghostbusters (1984), Ghostbusters II (1989), Pretty in Pink (1986), Jumpin' Jack Flash (1986), and Who's Harry Crumb? (1989). In the 1990s, she lent her voice to Bo Peep in the animated features Toy Story (1995) and Toy Story 2 (1999). Additionally, she portrayed Mary Jo Jackson Shively on the CBS sitcom Designing Women from 1986 to 1993.

Potts received a nomination for a Primetime Emmy Award in 1994 for her role as Dana Palladino on the CBS series Love & War (1993–95) and was nominated for Screen Actors Guild Awards in both 1998 and 1999 for her portrayal of Mary Elizabeth Sims in Lifetime’s drama Any Day Now (1998–2002). In 2012, she played Gigi Stopper on ABC's comedy-drama series GCB.
