Filipina actress Hazel Pascual Reyes, born on May 9, 1979, is also a singer, model, and entrepreneur. She is widely recognized by her stage name "Ara Mina," derived from the names of her two younger sisters. As the oldest among nine siblings, she spent her childhood in Marikina City with her mother, Francis Marie Klenk, and stepfather Romeo Reyes. Her biological father is Chuck Mathay, a former politician. Ara has a daughter named Amanda Gabrielle with Patrick Meneses, the Mayor of Bulakan in Bulacan.

Ara Mina entered the Philippine entertainment scene at age 14 through the youth program That's Entertainment hosted by Mr. German "Kuya Germs" Moreno. Since then, she has appeared in approximately 40 television programs and around 60 films while releasing three music albums and receiving various accolades from multiple awarding organizations. Her first acting honor came as Best Actress for her role in "Mano Po" during the Metro Manila Film Festival held in 2002. In 2003, she collected three additional Best Actress awards from Manila Film Festival , FAMAS , and Golden Screen Awards for "Ang Huling Birhen Sa Lupa." Furthermore, she secured both Golden Screen Awards and Star Awards for Best Supporting Actress in drama for her portrayal of Luna in Minsan Pa during 2004.

In addition to acting, Ara achieved success as a singer/recording artist. Her debut album released under Star Records featured the popular track "Ay, Ay, Ay Pag-Ibig," which earned a gold record shortly after its launch. This prompted Star Records to produce another album titled "Heavenly," which also enjoyed significant success and included “Oops Teka Lang,” serving as the theme song for its corresponding film featuring Robin Padilla and Claudine Barretto produced by Star Cinema. Additionally, her rendition of Rey Valera's hit “Kung Kailangan Mo Ako” was utilized as the theme song for ABS-CBN’s series “Sa Sandaling Kailangan Mo Ako.” In 2008 she released her third album under Sony BMG consisting of acoustic covers such as Sergio Mendes' “What Do We Mean To Each Other,” Depeche Mode's “Somebody,” and Maureen McGovern’s “Very Special Love.”

Ara has also garnered appreciation from media professionals due to her ability to maintain positive relationships within the industry; over her two decades in show business she has received several "Darling of the Press" honors.

Her versatility is evident through appearances across various television genres including sitcoms and dramas; notably starring as a superheroine in "Super Klenk" showcased both comedic talent and agility. She maintained an extensive run on "Bubble Gang," marking one of her longest television commitments. The character Vultra from TV series "Mulawin" stands out among other roles too. A highly adaptable performer capable of transitioning seamlessly between antagonist or protagonist roles makes Ara one of this generation's most sought-after actresses; recently appearing on GMA-7’s series “Pinulot Ka Lang Sa Lupa” (2017) alongside participating in movie projects like “My Ex And Whys” featuring Enrique Gil and Liza Soberano.

Amongst all these accomplishments lies another achievement: launching Ara's Secret skincare line at www.arassecret.com established back in 2012 that continues attracting trust within Filipinas globally. Moreover February 2017 saw opening Hazelberry Cafe situated in Quezon City offering comfort food along with baked treats crafted personally by herself.

Furthermore supporting children born with birth defects led to founding Ara Mina Foundation back during year seven years ago driven partly by inspiration drawn forth having youngest sister Mina who was diagnosed with Down syndrome; thus motivating active involvement toward this cause overall establishing Hazel/Ara firmly entrenched into Filipino celebrity culture.
