American snowboarder Hannah Teter, born on January 27, 1987, has achieved Olympic success by securing a gold medal in the halfpipe event at the 2006 Winter Olympics held in Torino, Italy, along with a silver medal during the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Additionally, she claimed a bronze medal at the 2005 FIS World Championships in Whistler, British Columbia and boasts six victories in World Cup competitions throughout her career. In January 2010, Teter was selected for the US Team competing at the Vancouver Winter Games where she earned a silver medal in women's halfpipe.
