American actress and singer Holly Elizabeth Robinson Peete (born September 18, 1964) is recognized for her performances as Judy Hoffs in the Fox police drama 21 Jump Street, Vanessa Russell in the ABC sitcom Hangin' with Mr. Cooper, and Dr. Malena Ellis on the NBC/WB series For Your Love. Additionally, she was one of the original co-hosts on CBS's daytime talk show The Talk.

Following her high school graduation, Peete enrolled at Sarah Lawrence College in New York where she pursued a double major in Psychology and French. After completing her degree in 1986, she contemplated further education to work with languages for the U.S. State Department but ultimately opted to pursue acting instead. Shortly thereafter, Peete secured roles on television shows and appeared in two films.

Peete authored a children's book titled My Brother Charlie, which earned her an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Literary Work in March 2011. The book also received the Dolly Gray Children's Literature Award in 2012.

In March 2016, a reality television series named For Peete's Sake premiered that showcased her family's daily life.

Currently, she collaborates with GreatCall as an ambassador focused on caregiving.
