Madison Nicole Ziegler (born September 30, 2002) is an American dancer, actress, author, and model. She first gained recognition on Lifetime's reality show Dance Moms from 2011 to 2016. Between 2014 and 2017, she starred in music videos by Sia, including "Chandelier" and "Elastic Heart," which collectively have over 5 billion views on YouTube.
Ziegler has appeared in films, television, and concerts, and has modeled for brands such as Capezio, Ralph Lauren, Fabletics, and Target. She was listed by Time magazine as one of the "30 most influential teens" in 2015, 2016, and 2017. In 2016, she was a judge on So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation and toured with Sia in North America and Australia. She also toured Australia and New Zealand with her sister Mackenzie in 2017 and 2018. Her 2017 memoir, The Maddie Diaries, was a New York Times Best Seller. Ziegler voiced Camille Le Haut in the animated film Ballerina (2016) and appeared as Christina Sickleman in The Book of Henry (2017). She has over 13 million Instagram followers.
