American actress Nafessa Williams (born December 4, 1989, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) is recognized for her work in film and television. She gained attention for her performance as Nicole Gordon in the 2011 Meek Mill movie Streets, portrayed Deanna Forbes on the ABC soap opera One Life to Live in the same year, and played Dr. Charlotte Piel in the CBS series Code Black starting in 2016.

Williams pursued a degree in criminal justice at West Chester University while completing an internship within the homicide division of the District Attorney's Office.

In 2017, Williams was cast as Anissa Pierce in the series Black Lightning created by Mara Brock Akil and Greg Berlanti, and appeared as Jade in Showtime's Twin Peaks developed by Mark Frost and David Lynch.
