Australian actress, musician, and television host Natalie Bassingthwaighte (born 1 September 1975) has made significant contributions to the entertainment industry. Raised in Wollongong, New South Wales, she commenced her professional journey in acting with guest roles on television starting in 1998. Bassingthwaighte gained attention in 2003 for her portrayal of Izzy Hoyland on the Australian soap opera Neighbours, leading to three nominations for Logie Awards.

In 2004, she became the lead vocalist of the Australian electro-pop group Rogue Traders. After departing from Neighbours in 2006 to concentrate on her musical endeavors, Bassingthwaighte collaborated with Shannon Noll on a cover of "Don't Give Up," which achieved a peak position of number two on the ARIA Singles Chart and was certified platinum. She left Rogue Traders in 2008 to embark on a solo music career and released her first solo album titled 1000 Stars in 2009. In December 2011, she wed Cameron McGlinchey, a former bandmate from Rogue Traders; together they have two children: daughter Harper Rain Sinclair McGlinchey and son Hendrix John Hickson McGlinchey.
