Nazan Eckes is a German journalist and television host. Born in Cologne in 1976, she grew up speaking both Turkish and German due to her parents' heritage. After completing her studies in journalism, political science, and German literature, she started her professional work at the private network RTL, where she has been employed since 1998.

During her career, Eckes has presented various television programs, such as the RTL magazine "Explosiv" and the dance competition "Let's Dance." She also takes part as an event host and has led the ceremony for the German Television Awards.

In her personal life, Nazan Eckes is married with two children. Additionally, she serves as an ambassador for "SOS Children's Villages" and actively supports charitable initiatives.
