American television personality Linnethia Monique "NeNe" Leakes (née Johnson; born December 13, 1967) is also an actress, author, presenter, and fashion designer. She was born in Queens, New York and grew up in Athens, Georgia. Leakes gained fame as a cast member on the reality TV series The Real Housewives of Atlanta and portrayed Roz Washington on the Fox comedy Glee.

She starred as Rocky Rhoades in the NBC sitcom The New Normal until its cancellation in 2013. Additionally, she competed on Donald Trump's The Celebrity Apprentice and participated in ABC's Dancing with the Stars. In 2014, Leakes made her Broadway debut playing Madame in Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella and took on the role of Matron "Mama" Morton in Chicago during 2015.

Leakes served as one of the regular panelists for ABC's revival of the classic game show To Tell The Truth from the 1950s. Beyond her television endeavors, she has introduced a clothing line through Home Shopping Network and embarked on a national comedy tour titled "So Nasty, So Rude".
