Turkish singer and dancer Nezihe Kalkan, born in 1979 in İzmir, is commonly referred to as Nez. She is recognized for her distinctive blend of modern dance styles with techno-pop music influences.

After spending several years studying in the UK, she returned to Turkey in the early 2000s and began to perform regularly at a prominent jazz venue in Istanbul with an original performance. Currently, she has released two albums. Additionally, she appears as an actress on Fox Turkey's sitcom Sıkı Dostlar ("good friends"), alongside Haluk Bilginer and Özkan Uğur.
