Nikita Dragun (née Nguyen; born January 31, 1996, in Belgium) is an American YouTuber, makeup artist, and model. She grew up in Virginia and began expressing her transgender identity in college. Dragun has shared her experience of transitioning from male to female in her YouTube videos. She was accepted to New York University with a full scholarship but chose to attend community college instead. Later, she moved to Los Angeles to study business and marketing for cosmetics at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM), graduating in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in beauty business and marketing.
Dragun joined YouTube in 2013 and gained popularity with over 1.6 million subscribers by August 2018. In 2015, she publicly came out as transgender. She protested Victoria's Secret's exclusion of transgender models with a viral video, criticizing the brand's chief marketing director. In March 2019, she launched her makeup line, Dragun Beauty, aimed at both the mainstream market and the transgender community. Dragun has faced controversies including allegations of racism, blackface, and feuds with other YouTubers such as Jeffree Star and James Charles.
