German television presenter and actress Nova Meierhenrich (born 25 December 1973, in Ahlen, North Rhine-Westphalia) began her professional journey as a TV host in Germany in 1996. Since then, she has been involved in numerous television programs and magazines for networks including MDR, Sat.1, Viva, MTV, RTL2, Pro7, WDR, and Premiere. She has also reported on significant events such as the Oscars, Golden Globes, and Grammy Awards. In 2003, while serving as the host for the German adaptation of Fame Academy, Meierhenrich received a nomination for the Bambi Award—one of Germany's esteemed honors.

In addition to her role as a TV presenter, she has achieved success as an actress in both film and television. Her film credits include Der Club der grünen Witwen ZDF, Nachtspuren, Nick Knatterton on Pro7 Märchenstunde Pro7 and the hit telenovela Verbotene Liebe ARD. In 2009 she appeared in the drama Unter Bauern - Retter in der Nacht alongside Armin Rohde and Veronica Ferres while also filming Sind denn alle Männer Schweine? for Sat.1. Shortly thereafter she played a leading role in the series Zeit der Entscheidung. In 2010 she acted in Vater Unser and took on a principal part in Sterben und sterben lassen followed by appearances in ZDF's Da kommt Kalle and Schief gewickelt movie. The new ZDF series Herzflimmern – Die Klinik am See premiered on April 4th, 2011 featuring her as young MD Marie Egger; however due to low ratings she exited shortly after its launch. Many of her films did not achieve theatrical release with critiques suggesting her acting skills are "on the brink of appropriateness." Nova Meierhenrich is actively engaged in charitable activities; she has partnered with SOS Children's Villages for many years and serves as an advocate for various animal rights initiatives including PETA’s anti-fur campaign along with WDCS efforts regarding whales and dolphins.
