American mixed martial artist, judoka, and actress Ronda Jean Rousey (born February 1, 1987) was the first woman from the United States to secure an Olympic medal in judo, earning a Bronze at the Beijing Summer Olympics in 2008. She held the title of UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion and was also the final Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Champion. Over her career, she achieved twelve straight victories in MMA, including six within the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), before experiencing her sole defeat against Holly Holm; eleven of these wins came in the first round, with nine achieved via armbar submission. In 2015, she appeared in Furious 7 and Entourage.
