Ukrainian-born German figure skater Aljona Savchenko (Ukrainian: Олена Валентинівна Савченко, Olena Valentynivna Savchenko; German Romanization: Aljona Sawtschenko; born 19 January 1984) is recognized as one of the most accomplished pair skaters in the sport. She achieved Olympic success as the champion in 2018 and earned two bronze medals at the Olympics (2010, 2014), alongside her titles as a six-time World Champion, four-time European Champion, and five-time Grand Prix Final victor.

Alongside partner Bruno Massot, she attained Olympic gold in 2018 and secured the World Championship title that same year. They also earned silver medals at two European Championships and triumphed at the Grand Prix Final during the 2017–18 season. Additionally, they are twice champions of Germany (2016, 2018) and set world records for both highest free skate score and total score while being the first to surpass 160 points in free skating.

With previous partner Robin Szolkowy, she won bronze medals at both the 2010 and 2014 Olympics. Together they claimed five World titles (2008, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2014), four European championships (2007–2009, 2011), four Grand Prix Finals (2007, 2010, 2011, 2013), and were crowned national champions of Germany eight times between years ranging from 2004 to beyond. Savchenko and Szolkowy received history-making component scores of ten under ISU Judging System rules. Initially representing Ukraine with Dmitri Boyenko followed by Stanislav Morozov led her to become a World Junior champion in year 2000 along with winning Junior Grand Prix Final honors for that season along with two Ukrainian national titles.

In June of twenty twenty-one, Savchenko announced her return from retirement to continue competing within United States circuits. By September of twenty twenty-one however she declared plans to shift focus back towards coaching due to challenges experienced while seeking a competitive partner.
