Francesca Jean Halsall (born 12 April 1990) is a retired English swimmer who competed for Great Britain in the Olympics, FINA World Championships, and European Championships, as well as representing England at the Commonwealth Games. Her primary events were freestyle and butterfly.

Halsall was the youngest athlete on the Team England swimming roster during the 2006 Commonwealth Games held in Melbourne, where she secured silver medals in both the 4×100-metre freestyle and medley relay events.

She participated in the European Aquatics Championships' 4×100-metre medley relay team that won gold in August 2006 and successfully defended their title two years later in Eindhoven. At the Budapest European Championships in 2010, Halsall achieved five medals: two golds, two silvers, and one bronze; she also contributed to her team's successful title defense in the medley relay for a second time. With these achievements, she became recognized as Britain's most accomplished swimmer at a single championship event.

During the Commonwealth Games of 2010 held in New Delhi, India, Halsall claimed a gold medal with a national record time of 26.19 seconds in the women's 50-metre butterfly event, outperforming favored Australian competitors. In her expected strong performance for the 100-metre freestyle race, an illness left her unwell and resulted only in a bronze medal finish. Just twenty minutes after this race and despite feeling weak, she returned to compete in the semi-finals of the women's 100-metre butterfly but did not advance to finals. Later on during these Games, Halsall managed to recover enough to earn three additional silver medals: one each for individual performance in women's 50-metre freestyle and as part of both relay teams for men's medley and freestyle.
