British recording artist, television presenter, and actress Jamelia Niela Davis (born 11 January 1981) has released three studio albums, all of which reached the Top 40 in the UK and produced eight singles that entered the UK top ten. Additionally, she has achieved four MOBO Awards, one Q Award, and garnered nine nominations for BRIT Awards. Her professional journey spans over a decade after being signed to a major record label at the age of 15 right after completing her education.

Jamelia's music career commenced in 1999 with her first single "So High," followed by another hit "I Do." In June 2000, she launched her debut album titled Drama. She continued to release successful tracks such as "Superstar" and "Thank You," which peaked at number three and number two on the UK Singles Charts respectively; “Superstar” also achieved number one status in Australia and received platinum certification there. Subsequently, she released two more studio albums: Thank You (2003) and Walk with Me (2006), before parting ways with Parlophone due to disagreements regarding the release of "No More," which was intended as the third single from Walk with Me.

Over her decade-long career, Jamelia took on judging roles for programs like Move Like Michael Jackson in 2009. Her work extends to television documentaries including Jamelia: Whose Hair Is It Anyway (2008), an edition of The House That Made Me aired on Channel 4, and in 2011 produced a BBC Three documentary titled Jamelia: Shame About Single Mums. In 2010 she entered into a new recording agreement with All Around the World Productions. Since 2013, she has been featured as a panelist on ITV’s magazine show Loose Women.
