British actress Joanna Lamond Lumley, OBE FRGS (born 1 May 1946) is also a voice-over performer, former model, author, and activist. She is known for her role as Patsy Stone in the British television series Absolutely Fabulous and has appeared in The New Avengers, Sapphire & Steel, Jam & Jerusalem, and Sensitive Skin. Her film credits include On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969), Trail of the Pink Panther (1982), and James and the Giant Peach (1996).

Lumley later featured in Maybe Baby (2000), Ella Enchanted (2004), Corpse Bride (2005), and The Wolf of Wall Street (2013). In 2011, she received a nomination for the Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play due to her work in La Bête.

Lumley advocates for human rights through her involvement with Survival International and the Gurkha Justice Campaign. Additionally, she supports various charities focused on animal welfare such as Compassion in World Farming and Vegetarians' International Voice for Animals. She serves as patron to the Farm Animal Sanctuary. In 2013, she was honored with the Special Recognition Award at The National Television Awards.

As of July 2012, Lumley was collaborating with designer Thomas Heatherwick on plans for a controversial pedestrian "Garden Bridge" spanning the Thames River in London.
