English professional wrestler, valet, and actress Katarina Leigh Waters (born 10 November 1980) originated in Germany. She is recognized for her roles in World Wrestling Entertainment as Katie Lea (Burchill) and in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling under the name Winter. Before joining WWE, she dedicated several years to the independent wrestling scene, especially within the Frontier Wrestling Alliance, where she performed as Nikita.

Following her WWE signing, she participated in their former developmental league Ohio Valley Wrestling, where she achieved two Women's Championship titles prior to her promotion to the main roster. After her release from WWE in April 2010, Waters transitioned to TNA in August 2010 with a new ring identity of Winter. In her inaugural year at TNA, she succeeded in capturing both women's championships offered by the organization; initially partnering with Angelina Love to secure the Knockouts Tag Team Championship in December 2010 and later clinching the Knockouts Championship in August 2011.
