Canadian actress and former fashion model Kelly Rowan (born October 26, 1965) hails from Ottawa. She pursued acting studies in both London and New York City prior to beginning her modeling career. Rowan made her film debut in the horror movie The Gate (1987) and later received critical recognition for her role in the Canadian TV film Adrift, which earned her a Gemini Award for Best Actress. Following a prominent performance in Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh (1995), she portrayed Mattie Shaw on the television series Lonesome Dove: The Outlaw Years from 1996 to 1997.

Rowan achieved global visibility through her role as Kirsten Cohen, a real estate developer from California, on the American TV show The O.C., aired between 2003 and 2007. She then took on a leading part in the crime drama Perception from 2012 until 2015.
