German recording artist Nadja Benaissa (born 26 April 1982) is also known for her work as a television personality and occasional actress. She gained attention in late 2000 after participating in the reality TV series Popstars on RTL II, where she secured a spot in the all-female pop group No Angels. The band achieved considerable success, becoming the highest-selling female group from Germany to this day.

Following several successful releases with No Angels, Benaissa launched her solo career with the album Schritt für Schritt in 2006. This semi-autobiographical record was produced entirely in German and explored genres including soul, R&B, and jazz music, although it saw moderate commercial performance.

In February 2010, German authorities charged her with causing bodily harm due to unprotected sexual encounters with three men between 2004 and 2006 without disclosing her HIV-positive status. In August of that year, she was convicted for concealing her HIV status from partners and received a two-year suspended sentence along with 300 hours of community service. In September 2010, Nadja Benaissa departed from No Angels for personal reasons, reducing the group to a trio.
