American actress and comedian Carol Denise Betts, also recognized as Niecy Nash-Betts (née Ensley; born February 23, 1970), is known for her work in television.

Nash was the host of the Style Network program Clean House from 2003 until 2010, earning a Daytime Emmy Award in 2010. In her acting career, she performed as Deputy Raineesha Williams in the comedic series Reno 911! (2003–2009, 2020–present). Nash received two nominations for Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series along with a Critics' Choice Television Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series due to her portrayal of nurse Denise "DiDi" Ortley on HBO's comedy Getting On (2013–2015). She also appeared as Lolli Ballantine on TV Land's sitcom The Soul Man (2012–2016), played Denise Hemphill in Fox's horror-comedy Scream Queens (2015–2016), and took on the role of Desna Simms, one of the central characters, in TNT’s crime comedy-drama Claws (2017–2022). In 2022, she portrayed Glenda Cleveland, the neighbor to serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, in Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.

Nash has been involved in various film roles and has made numerous guest appearances across different television programs. In 2014, she acted as civil rights activist Richie Jean Jackson in Ava DuVernay's historical drama Selma. By 2019, she starred as Delores Wise in DuVernay’s miniseries When They See Us and was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie. In recognition of her contributions to entertainment, Nash received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2018. She represented feminist leader Florynce Kennedy during her role in Mrs. America released in 2020. Additionally, she served as a guest host on The Masked Singer for five episodes throughout 2021.
