Swiss fashion model Patricia Schmid (born January 23, 1985) has graced the covers of i-D and French Vogue, as well as featuring in campaigns for the Japanese beauty brand Shiseido. Additionally, she has participated in runway shows for designers such as Marc Jacobs and Jean Paul Gaultier.

Following a three-year modeling stint, Schmid opted to take time off to explore different parts of the globe. During this period, she also focused on creating her own jewelry pieces for friends including Milagros Schmoll. She elaborated on these experiences in an interview with Models.com.

Patricia was listed among the top 50 models by Models.com. In a statement during an interview with Pony Ryder, she expressed her appreciation: 'I’m extremely honored to be one of the top 50 models on models.com. It certainly did not harm my career in any way!'

In July 2015, Patricia completed her studies as a Health Coach at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition located in New York City. Later that same year, she entered into marriage with artist Gian Tumasch Appenzeller and they welcomed their child Gion Luis Appenzeller.
