Indian actress Radhika Apte (born 7 September 1985) commenced her career in theater and made her cinematic introduction with a minor appearance in the Hindi fantasy film Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi! (2005). Since then, Apte has participated in films across various languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Marathi, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali, and English.

Her first prominent role came with the 2009 Bengali social drama Antaheen. In 2015, she received significant acclaim for her supporting performances in three Bollywood films: Badlapur, the comedy Hunterrr, and the biographical feature Manjhi - The Mountain Man. Her leading roles in the independent features Phobia and Parched from 2016 further solidified her reputation. In 2018, Apte appeared in three Netflix projects—the anthology movie Lust Stories, the thriller series Sacred Games, and the horror mini-series Ghoul. She earned an International Emmy Award nomination for her performance in Lust Stories. Alongside independent cinema work, Apte has also acted in mainstream productions like Kabali (2016), a Tamil action film; Pad Man (2018), a Hindi biopic; and Andhadhun (2018), a Hindi black comedy—all of which achieved commercial success. Since 2012, she has been married to musician Benedict Taylor who is based in London.

Apte also made her directorial debut with The Sleepwalkers featuring Gulshan Devaiah and Shahana Goswami. This short film is competing at the Palm Springs International ShortFest 2020 under the Best Midnight Short category.
