American actress Raven-Symoné Christina Pearman (/ˈreɪ.vən sɪˈmoʊn/; born December 10, 1985), commonly referred to as Raven-Symoné, is a multifaceted professional known for her work as an actress, comedian, model, singer, songwriter, dancer, television producer and talk show host. She made her television debut in 1989 on The Cosby Show portraying the character Olivia Kendall. In 1993, she launched her first music album titled Here's to New Dreams; its single "That's What Little Girls Are Made Of" reached number 68 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. Her second album, Undeniable was released on May 4, 1999.

Raven-Symoné transitioned into film acting with roles tailored for younger viewers such as Dr. Dolittle (1998) and its sequel Dr. Dolittle 2 (2001), along with College Road Trip (2008).
