American actress Rosanna Arquette (ro-SAH-nah; born August 10, 1959) is also recognized as a film director and producer. She received an Emmy nomination for her role in the 1982 television movie The Executioner's Song and secured a BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her work in the 1985 feature Desperately Seeking Susan. Additional films she appeared in include After Hours (1985), The Big Blue (1988), Pulp Fiction (1994), and Crash (1996). In 2002, she directed the documentary Searching for Debra Winger, and she was featured on the ABC sitcom What About Brian? from 2006 to 2007.
