Austrian former breaststroke swimmer Vera Lischka (born 1 May 1977 in Linz, Upper Austria) represented her country at the Atlanta Summer Olympics in 1996. She secured the European championship title in the 50m breaststroke during the European Short Course Championships held in 1996.
Lischka claimed thirteen national titles and received coaching from Rolf Gläser. Following her swimming career, she pursued a degree in journalism. Since 27 October 2003, she has been a member of the Landtag of Upper Austria representing SPÖ.
