Israeli actress Yael Grobglas (Hebrew: יעל גרובגלס‎) is recognized for her performances as Petra Solano and her twin sister Anezka on the CW series Jane the Virgin.

She began her career with a significant role in the Israeli sci-fi television show Ha'i (English: The Island, 2007–09), which garnered her a following among young viewers in Israel. Grobglas received attention for her initial film appearance in Rabies (Hebrew: כלבת‎, translit. Kalevet, 2010), the first horror film from Israel that screened at the Tribeca Film Festival and other international platforms. Between 2010 and 2011, she took on various leading and supporting roles in popular Israeli TV programs such as Ha-Shualim (English: The Foxes 2010), Ramzor (English: Traffic Light, Hebrew: רמזור), and Hatzuya (2011). Additionally, she is recognized for portraying "The Girl" in We the Kings' interactive music video "Say You Like Me," along with playing Gabi in Tanuhi (Hebrew: תנוחי, English: Relax, 2012). On February 22, 2013, it was revealed that Grobglas was selected for the main character of "America Singer" in The CW's second pilot of The Selection; however, this project did not proceed to become a series. That same year saw her cast as Olivia on The CW's Reign—a noblewoman from Italy who shares a past romance with Prince Francis (Toby Regbo).
