South African model Zozibini Tunzi, born on 18 September 1993, is recognized for her achievements in beauty pageants, having been crowned Miss Universe in 2019. Prior to this accolade, she was named Miss South Africa 2019. Tunzi marks the third individual from South Africa to receive this honor and is the first black woman to do so since Leila Lopes won Miss Universe in 2011.
