American professional basketball player Candace Nicole Parker (born April 19, 1986) competes for the Los Angeles Sparks in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). She is the younger sibling of former NBA athlete Anthony Parker and was selected as the top pick in the 2008 WNBA Draft. During her high school years, Parker earned Gatorade National Girls Basketball Player of the Year honors in both 2003 and 2004, making her only the second junior and first female to achieve this distinction twice.

As a versatile athlete, Parker primarily occupies the forward position; during her college career at Tennessee, she was listed as a forward, center, and guard.
