American soccer forward Christen Annemarie Press (born December 29, 1988) is a FIFA Women's World Cup champion. Currently, she competes for the Houston Dash in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) and represents the United States women's national soccer team. Previously, Press was part of magicJack in Women's Professional Soccer (WPS), as well as Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC and Tyresö FF in Sweden's Damallsvenskan, along with playing for the Chicago Red Stars within the NWSL. She received recognition as the WPS Rookie of the Year in 2011. In 2013, Press led the Damallsvenskan in scoring with 23 goals and became the first American to earn the league's Golden Boot award. She was awarded the Hermann Trophy in 2010 and holds Stanford University's all-time scoring record.
