A contract worth US$100,000 with CoverGirl cosmetics. The initial portion of the cycle was set in New York City, returning from Los Angeles where it had been held previously. São Paulo, Brazil was chosen as the international location for this cycle, representing the series' inaugural trip to South America.

The contestant count was reduced to 13, a shift from the previous two cycles which featured 14 contestants; this marked a return to a lower number last seen in cycle 9. This season also marked Paulina Porizkova's final appearance as a judge.

The victor of this season was Teyona Anderson at age 20 from Woodstown, New Jersey. An average of 4.35 million viewers tuned in per episode during this season.
