English actress Jennifer Ann Agutter OBE (born 20 December 1952) commenced her professional work as a young performer in 1964 and later featured in The Railway Children, both in the television adaptation released in 1968 and the film version from 1970. She also appeared in the movie Walkabout, which was released in 1971, before relocating to Hollywood in 1974. Additionally, she serves as a patron for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

Agutter received an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama for her role in the TV film The Snow Goose from 1971 and won a BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance as Jill Mason in Equus (1977). Her other cinematic appearances include Jessica 6 in Logan's Run (1976), Alex Price in An American Werewolf in London (1981), and Joanne Simpson in Child's Play 2 (1990). Since the year 2000, she has been featured prominently on various British television series, such as Spooks (2002–03) and Call the Midwife (2012–present).
