British sprinter Jodie Alicia Williams (born 28 September 1993) focuses on the 100 and 200 metres events. An exceptional talent in her youth, she secured titles as the World Youth Champion for both the 100 m and 200 m in 2009, followed by being crowned World Junior Champion at the same distance in 2010. She also claimed victories as the European Junior Champion in both sprint categories in 2011 and later became the European U23 Champion for the 200 m in 2013.

Williams maintained an impressive unbeaten record over a span of five years, completing a total of 151 consecutive races without defeat from her entry into athletics in 2005 until July 2010, when she finished second to Stormy Kendrick in the World Junior Championships' final for the 200 m. She holds British youth records for distances including the indoor track of 60 m along with both outdoor sprints of 100 m and 200 m. At just sixteen years old, she ranked as Britain's leading female athlete for the outdoor season at the distance of 200 m in 2010.

Following some challenges at the start of her senior career due to injuries, Williams achieved success by winning her initial senior medals while representing England at the Commonwealth Games held in Glasgow during 2014; these included a bronze medal from competing in the women's relay team (4 ×100 metres) and a silver medal earned from her performance in individual competition for the two-hundred-metre race. Shortly after that event, she replicated her achievement by earning another silver medal at that year's European Championships before clinching her first gold medal as part of Great Britain's relay team which set a new national record during their run.
