Czech professional tennis player Karolína Plíšková (Czech pronunciation: [Л€karoliЛђna Л€pliЛђКѓkovaЛђ]; born 21 March 1992) is a former world No. 1 and currently holds the No. 5 position in the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) rankings. Throughout her career, Plíšková has secured twelve singles and five doubles championships on the WTA tour, along with ten singles and six doubles titles on the ITF circuit. On 31 October 2016, she achieved a career-high ranking of world No. 11 in doubles.

Plíšková reached her inaugural Grand Slam final at the US Open in 2016, finishing as runner-up to Angelique Kerber after three sets. In her junior career, she claimed victory in the girls' singles category at the Australian Open in 2010 by defeating Laura Robson in the final match.
