American actress Kathryn Ann "Katee" Sackhoff (born April 8, 1980) is recognized for her portrayal of Lieutenant Kara "Starbuck" Thrace in the Sci Fi Channel series Battlestar Galactica (2003–2009). She received four nominations for Saturn Awards due to her performance on the show, winning Best Supporting Actress on Television in 2005.

Sackhoff has appeared in the brief TV series The Fearing Mind (2000–2001) and The Education of Max Bickford (2001–2002); held recurring parts in Bionic Woman (2007), Robot Chicken (2007–2016), Nip/Tuck (2009), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2010–2011), and Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2012–2013); and played a main character, Dana Walsh, in season eight of 24 (2010). Currently, she features as Deputy Sheriff Victoria "Vic" Moretti in the Netflix production Longmire from 2012 to present.

Her film credits include lead roles in Halloween: Resurrection (2002); White Noise: The Light (2007); Batman: Year One (2011); The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia; Sexy Evil Genius; and Riddick (all released in 2013), along with a prominent role in Oculus.
