South African television host Khanyi Mbau, born on October 15, 1985, is also an actress and radio broadcaster. Growing up in Soweto, Mbau gained considerable visibility and became well-known as the character Doobsie in the SABC2 soap opera Muvhango (2004-2005); she portrayed Mbali in the SABC1 series Mzansi and appeared in the mini-series After Nine on SABC1. She previously hosted Katch It With Khanyi until its conclusion after three seasons. Currently, she presents The Weekend Edition on SABC 3 and Whose Show Is It Anyway on Metro FM.
