English actress Kristin Ann Scott Thomas, DBE (born 24 May 1960) has received the BAFTA Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in Four Weddings and a Funeral (1994) and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress for her performance in The English Patient (1996). In theatre, she has earned five Olivier Award nominations for Best Actress, securing a win in 2008 for the revival of The Seagull at the Royal Court.

Scott Thomas began her film career with Under the Cherry Moon directed by Prince in 1986. Additional film credits include Bitter Moon (1992), Mission: Impossible (1996), The Horse Whisperer (1998), Gosford Park (2001), and Nowhere Boy (2010).
