American actress Margaret Markov is known for her work in film and television. She performed in a supporting capacity in the romantic drama The Sterile Cuckoo (1969) alongside Liza Minnelli and was featured in There is No 13 (1974), among other cinematic projects.

Markov appeared in the 1969 outlaw biker film Run, Angel, Run directed by Jack Starrett and starred in the 1972 women-in-prison feature The Hot Box, which she co-wrote with Jonathan Demme. Additionally, she took part in the dark comedy/murder mystery Pretty Maids All in a Row (1971) alongside Rock Hudson under the direction of Roger Vadim. Markov also played lead roles opposite Pam Grier in two films: Black Mama, White Mama (1972) and The Arena (also known as Naked Warriors) from 1974. During the production of The Arena, she began a relationship with producer Mark Damon; they later married, leading to her retirement from acting.
