Turkish-German actress and model Meryem Sahra Uzerli (pronounced [mГ¦ЙѕЛ€jГ¦m uzГ¦ЙѕЛ€li]; born August 12, 1983) gained visibility for her portrayal of Hürrem Sultan in the Turkish television drama Muhteşem Yüzyıl (2011–2013), where she received critical praise and several awards, including a Golden Butterfly Award.
