Israeli-American professional basketball player Suzanne Brigit Bird (born October 16, 1980) competes for the Seattle Storm in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). She was selected first overall by the Storm in the 2002 WNBA draft and holds the record for most assists throughout league history. Additionally, she served as a Basketball Operations Associate for the NBA's Denver Nuggets. Her career also includes stints with three teams in Russia.

During her high school years, she earned titles such as New York State Player of the Year, New York Daily News Player of the Year, and WBCA All-American. In her senior year at an undefeated UConn team in 2002, she received both the Wade Trophy and Naismith Award recognizing her as College Player of the Year. By completing her time at UConn, she ranked highest in three-point field goal percentage and free throw percentage while placing second in assists and steals; additionally, she won the Nancy Lieberman Award three times as top point guard nationally while leading her squad to a record of 114–4.

Bird has secured four WNBA championships with the Storm (2004, 2010, 2018, 2020), four Olympic gold medals (2004, 2008, 2012, 2016), two NCAA Championships with UConn (2000, 2002), and four FIBA World Cups (2002, 2010, 2014, 2018). She is among only eleven women to achieve all these honors. Furthermore, she is a five-time EuroLeague Women champion (from 2007 to 2010 and again in 2013). Throughout her WNBA tenure, Bird has been named to eleven WNBA All-Star teams and eight All-WNBA teams. In addition to this recognition from peers on various occasions like being voted by fans as one of WNBA's Top15 Players of All Time in 2011 and later included among its Top20@20 players.
