German actress Vanessa Jung (born 29 February 1980 in Munich, Germany) is recognized for her work in television.

Following her education, she relocated to New York for formal training in acting. Prior to that, she trained in modern dance while living in Munich.

At fifteen years old, she made her debut on the soap opera So ist das Leben!, portraying the character Lena Wagenfeld until the series was canceled a year later.

In 2005, she assumed the role of Jana von Lahnstein on the soap opera Verbotene Liebe and remained with the production for three years before departing in February 2008. The following year, Vanessa took on a recurring part as Karla Müller in the telenovela Sturm der Liebe. In August 2010, she guest-starred as Elvira Schnier for three episodes on Marienhof.

From October 2010 until September 2011, Vanessa played one of the lead roles as music teacher Beate Vogel in the Sat.1 soap Hand aufs Herz, reuniting her with former co-star Andreas Jancke from Verbotene Liebe.
