German actress Beatrice Richter, born on December 20, 1948, in Munich, is also recognized for her work as a comedian, cabaret performer, and jazz vocalist.

Beatrice Richter completed her acting studies at the Otto Falckenberg School of the Performing Arts in Munich before training in jazz dance under Frank Hatchett in New York.

She started her professional work alongside Diether Krebs and Klaus Havenstein with Rudi Carrell on the Radio Bremen comedy show Rudis Tagesshow from 1981 to 1987. For her comedic impersonations, she received the Goldene Kamera award in 1982. She further expanded her career as a collaborator with Diether Krebs on the sketch comedy series Sketchup (Bayerischer Rundfunk), which aired from 1984 to 1986; Iris Berben later took over her role. Additionally, Beatrice Richter appeared in various films featuring actors such as Walter Giller and Peter Alexander while participating in theatrical productions. In 1989, she was featured in an episode titled “Hilfe eine Aushilfe!” (“Help a temp!”) of the TV series Meister Eder und sein Pumuckl. Since 1996, she has entertained audiences through her own jazz cabaret performance.

In 2004, she performed alongside Peter Schmidt-Pavloff, Johannes Heesters, Cordula Trantow, and Fred Alexander in Hugo von Hofmannsthal's play Jedermann at Cologne Cathedral where she portrayed the Journeyman, Devil, and Mammon roles. In 2008, she played Rosmathilda Polterman during the Karl May Festival held at Bad Segeberg.

She has a daughter named Judith Richter (born 1978), stemming from a brief relationship with actor Heinz Baumann.
