German singer, songwriter, and voice actress Cassandra Steen (born February 9, 1980 in Ostfildern, Baden-Württemberg, West Germany) gained recognition as the primary vocalist of the group Glashaus.

Following a string of successful projects with the trio, Steen launched her first solo album Seele mit Herz in 2003, which achieved moderate commercial success. After leaving Glashaus and transitioning to Universal Urban Records in 2007, she released her second album Darum leben wir in February 2009. This gold-certified album reached the top ten charts and included three singles, among them "Stadt," which became one of the top-selling singles in Germany for 2009. In 2010, she was honored with an ECHO Award for Best National Artist Rock/Pop.

In addition to her music career, Steen provided the voice for Tiana in the German version of Disney's animated film The Princess and the Frog released in 2009. The track "Never Knew I Needed," a collaboration with original artist Ne-Yo, served as the lead single from its soundtrack. Since then, she has produced two more studio albums: Mir so nah (2011) and Spiegelbild (2014).
