Jamaican singer, songwriter, supermodel, record producer, and actress Grace Jones (born 19 May 1948) was raised in Spanish Town, Jamaica by her grandparents. At the age of 13, she relocated with her siblings to live with their parents in Syracuse, New York. Jones began her professional work as a model in New York before moving to Paris where she worked for designers such as Yves St. Laurent, Claude Montana, and Kenzo Takada.
