American actress and singer Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio (born November 17, 1958) initiated her career on Broadway with the 1980 revival of West Side Story. She subsequently performed as Gina Montana, the sister of Al Pacino's character, in the film Scarface released in 1983. For her portrayal of Carmen in the 1986 movie The Color of Money, she received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Additional film appearances include roles in The Abyss (1989), Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves (1991), and The Perfect Storm (2000). In 2003, she earned a nomination for a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical due to her performance in the Broadway revival of Man of La Mancha.
