American actress Maureen Denise McCormick, born on August 5, 1956, is recognized for her role as Marcia Brady in the ABC sitcom The Brady Bunch from 1969 to 1974. She subsequently reprised this character in various spin-offs and films related to The Brady Bunch, including The Brady Kids, The Brady Bunch Hour, and A Very Brady Christmas (1988). McCormick also featured in the film The Idolmaker (1980) along with numerous other supporting roles across different movies. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, she explored stage performances taking on diverse characters such as Wendy Darling in Peter Pan and Betty Rizzo in Grease. In addition to acting, McCormick pursued a music career by releasing four studio albums alongside the cast of The Brady Bunch while touring with them.
